What’s new in the V2 design

• Shoulder screws on steering knuckles provide a firmer fixment, reducing the chance of parts loosening during demanding turns.
• Modified diff cover hides screws to prevent potential jams under certain conditions, keeping the drivetrain easier to manage during crawls.

These updates focus on reliability and easier maintenance, letting you concentrate on line choice and climbing technique rather than on component fuss.

Sturdy build where it matters

• Front axle 67 g and rear axle 24 g, paired with brass steering knuckles, an aluminum servo mount, and a diff cover. The nylon housing is molded for flexibility to better absorb shocks on uneven surfaces.
• US patented Isokinetic 3-section CVD (Patent D1,052,393 S) is designed to minimize jerks at large steering angles and supports up to a 52° steering range, potentially sharpening control when navigating tight sections.

In practice, this combination can translate to smoother transitions through corners and steadier performance when navigating rock-strewn paths or rutted trails, with a chassis that feels more composed during aggressive steering.

Fitment, clearance, and gearing options

• Each axle is extended by +5 mm per side, increasing overall clearance to accommodate a wider range of tires and better approach angles on rugged terrain.
• Front and rear come with 2-14T gears; replacing the rear gears with 2-16T provides about 14% underdrive, balancing torque and wheel speed for different terrains.

This versatility lets builders tailor the setup toward their preferred balance of torque, speed, and steering responsiveness, whether crawling over boulders or threading through tight sections.

Compatibility and upgrade path

• Accessories for the V2 nylon axles are compatible with V1 accessories, and V2 nylon axle accessories work with V2 metal axles, helping you upgrade incrementally without starting from scratch.
