Unleash Creative Play with HEY CLAY Animals

Discover a hands-on art experience designed for curious kids and tweens. The HEY CLAY Animals kit pairs a kid-friendly air-dry clay set with a free, interactive app that offers 3D, step-by-step instructions. Rather than simply molding shapes, children can follow guided prompts to bring friendly zoo animal characters to life, building confidence as they go along.

The clay is lightweight, non-sticky, and non-toxic, with a stain-free formula that makes crafting comfortable for young artists. While the kit is suitable for ages 3 and up, many projects thrive with ages 6 and up as kids gain more control and interest in detailing. This combination of tactile play and digital guidance creates a low-pressure, creative space where imagination leads the journey from lump of color to character with little setup.

What’s Included

  • 15 cans of air-dry clay in assorted colors
  • 2 sculpting tools for shaping, smoothing, and detailing

How It Works

The companion app provides 3D, interactive, step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow with the included clay. After modeling, the project dries naturally within 24 hours, so projects can be displayed or shared the next day. Kids learn basic clay-art concepts such as creating spheres and cylinders, adding facial features, and exploring textures in a friendly, guided setting.

Creative Benefits and Learning Moments

  • Promotes fine motor skill development and spatial reasoning through hands-on shaping
  • Encourages texture exploration and expressive details like eyes, noses, and smiles
  • Supports independent creativity or cooperative crafting with friends and family

Ideal Scenarios

  • Rainy days, after-school craft sessions, or weekend projects
  • Party activities with a quick, dry-to-display outcome
  • Classroom enrichment stations for hands-on art exploration

Note on expectations: creative outcomes vary by child and use case. The kit provides opportunities for exploration and skill-building, rather than guarantees of specific results.
