Inspiring Storytelling Play for Toddlers and Preschoolers

CHEFAN’s Felt Flannel Board Stories kit opens a world of tactile, imaginative storytelling. Precise, vibrant felt pieces invite little hands to explore characters and scenes, while a soft felt board provides a gentle, welcoming surface for young readers to arrange figures and retell familiar rhymes.

Portability blends with practicality through a sturdy felt storage bag that can double as a play surface or a simple organizer. The set features four beloved figures—Wheels on the Bus, Baby Shark, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Bingo—creating ready-made storytelling prompts for quick sessions, quiet moments, or small-group activities.

What’s included and what makes it special

  • Storage felt bag and four precut figure sets
  • Vibrant, easy-to-handle pieces designed for hands-on learning
  • Durable, recyclable polyester construction; eco-friendly and non-toxic materials

How families and teachers use it

  • Home use at the dinner table, during car trips, or on the go
  • Classroom activities in preschool, daycare, or kindergarten settings
  • Quiet time, storytelling sessions, birthday or holiday celebrations

Beyond storytime, the set helps with sequencing, narrative cues, and cooperative play as children place figures, narrate a tiny tale, or act out familiar lyrics. The felt bag keeps pieces organized and ready for the next adventure, while sturdy stitching supports daily use.

Noticing the sensory appeal—the soft feel of felt, bold color contrasts, and the simple, tactile setup—may inspire longer attention and a sense of involvement during group activities. While results vary, many caregivers note enjoyable, relaxed moments of imaginative play and repeated storytelling.

Care and safety

Felt materials are designed for everyday play; keep away from high heat. Clean gently, air dry, and store in the bag when not in use.

Gift-ready for birthdays, holidays, or classroom surprises, this kit pairs well with other CHEFAN sets to expand storytelling options.
