The BETAFPV Air65 redefines micro FPV with a featherweight frame that weighs just 17.3g and a compact 65mm wheelbase. This ultralight design is paired with a rugged Air canopy and a 5IN1 Air brushless flight controller, delivering crisp, responsive handling for both indoor and outdoor flights. Pilots benefit from agile maneuverability without sacrificing precision, making tight corridors and quick curves feel natural.

At the heart of the build lies the 5IN1 Air Brushless FC, powered by the STM32G473CEU6 platform and the ICM42688P gyro. The result is faster processing and smoother stabilization, so you can react quickly to changing airflow or track layouts. The onboard 5.8G VTX supports 25mW to 400mW, balancing video clarity with heat and energy management for longer sessions under varied lighting conditions. The system includes an ELRS 2.4G receiver for reliable, low-latency control across a range of flight environments.

Performance comes alive with the Racing propulsion package. The 0702SE II 27000KV motors paired with GF 1219S 3B props deliver a notable thrust-to-weight boost that translates into explosive bursts and crisp steering. This setup is designed for pilots who crave fast climbs, rapid acceleration, and precise cornering during freestyle, race practice, or playful laps around a gym or park.

Camera, canopy, and flight versatility

The lightweight C03 FPV micro camera (about 1.45g) gives a clear video feed that helps you line up shots and track your line through crowded spaces. The redesigned Air Canopy offers improved flexibility and impact resistance, while a bend-reinforced structure reduces breakage under stress. The Air65 supports Micro/Nano analog cameras and features an adjustable angle from 25 to 50 degrees, letting you tailor the view for freestyle or racing sessions.

For power, the recommended LAVA 1S 260/300mAh batteries keep the center of gravity balanced, delivering crisper response, heightened acceleration, and better maneuverability. Expect flights around 4 minutes with a typical 260mAh pack, a sweet spot for nimble laps without frequent battery swaps.

Important note on VTX power: Higher VTX power uses more energy and generates more heat, which can shorten flight time. For daily indoor flights, using 25–100 mW is advised to achieve a balanced flight experience.
